Lemongrass leaves are a typical plant of South Kalimantan which contain anti-insecticide, namely secondary metabolites such as alkaloids, saponins, tannins, steroids and triterpenoids. Pediculosis is disease caused by tick infection still neglected becomes health problem. One way to get rid head lice use natural ingredients that anti-insecticide substances. This study aims examine the possibility using in lime vegetable insecticides against mortality. The research method used experimental, with design post-test only control group, measures compares mortality variable Pediculus humanus capitis after being treated leaf juice concentrations 10%, 30%, 60%, 100% during 1, 6, 12 24 hours compared them negative group aquadest positive pemethrin. sample this was extract extracted squeezing water. From results obtained highest percentage death at concentration 100%. Based on statistical tests observation data, LC99 values were within 1 hour (197.678%), 6 (126.055%), (89.847%), (60.758%). analysis data obtained, it can be concluded there effectiveness (Citrus hystrix) (Pediculus capitis) vitro.
